Pretty Mirage 0105-2023

The Ego Child was created for the exhibition Summer Art Salon at Kodl Contemporary Gallery. The Pretty Mirage series is made out of wall crystals. It is a unique composition of cuts in glass and a color gradient. Lukas Novak works mainly with light, which finalizes and illustrates the very appearance of the work, which plays with the truthfulness of human perception. By using optical glass, the artist tests the possibilities of human vision and achieves mystification or optical illusions.
