SILICA catalogue

An author publication documenting the current work of Lukáš Novák and the creation of the SILICA exhibition at Galerie U Betlémské kaple. More than a traditional exhibition catalogue, it offers a more intimate insight into the process behind the individual objects, the work with material, and the inner workings of the studio and production itself. The publication connects photographs of the installation, artwork details, behind-the-scenes views from the studio, and the production process with texts exploring themes of material, light, pressure, and transformation that have long permeated the artist’s practice.

The catalogue was produced in a strictly limited edition of only 75 pieces and is intended not only for collectors and exhibition visitors, but also for anyone wishing to gain a deeper understanding of contemporary authorial work with glass.

The catalogue features three different cover versions, each created in a limited variation as part of the overall edition.
